Trio Of Dodge Demons Catch Fire

Last week while being transported on a transport trailer hooked to a truck, three, brand new Dodge Challengers SRT Demons were caught on fire and burned, ruining the new vehicles.

The fire happened while on the road in Michigan, being transported to their new owners. The three vehicles were burned, the damage was serious. Thankfully no one was hurt.

The reasons for the fire starting are still unknown yet the damage is done. Luckily, these soon to be new Dodge Demon owners received a call from the head of passenger car brands of Chrysler. Assuring these new owners of the accident, as well as letting them know they will be receiving brand new Dodge Demons.

There are only 3,300 Demons released for those in North America, 3,000 in the United States and 300 in Canada, making this even more impactful. They cost roughly $86,000 each.

The new Demon is described by Dodge as “the world’s first purpose-built, street-legal drag car”. New and advanced moderations allow it to move down the line as fast as possible, nearly flying down the track or highway. The Demon hits 0 to 60MPH in just 2.3 seconds, which is a world record for a production car. In the designing stages, engineers were able to trim nearly 200 pounds off compared to the old Demon.

The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is certainly a highlight of Dodge’s 2018 year as well as the same excitement and anticipation for the demon car, if you are able to get your hands on one of them.

Still, the road is unpredictable and you never know what may go wrong, such as the case for the owners of the three burned Demons. Thankfully they will be getting brand new ones without dealing with insurance or legal costs. But it is very important to keep yourself protected with all the distractions and new drivers on the road today.

Having the right automobile insurance plan is so important in today’s driving industry. There are many great and sound auto insurance plans throughout the Chicagoland area.
