Ex-Fire Chief Admits To Starting Wildfire

In Maine, a former fire chief has pleaded guilty to a fire started in April of 2016. The wildfire ripped through 42 acres of land in the Jones Creek Marsh in the small town of Old Orchard Beach. In Sonoma, California, firefighters fought about 10 expanding wind-whipped fires across Northern California’s wine country early Monday, according to The News Tribune.
